Adobe RAW ‘release candidates’

Adobe has released ‘Release Candidates’ of Photoshop Camera Raw 5.6, Lightroom 2.6 and DNG Converter 5.6 for immediate download from Adobe Labs. The updates fix minor issues and provide additional Raw support for 19 more DSLRs, including the Canon EOS 7D and Nikon D3s, with additional DNG support for the Leica M9. The ‘release candidate’ label means the downloads are ‘well tested’ but not yet final versions. I can t wait until the final version comes out should be good. To find out more click here .

Ever since Ms.Finch one of my teachers at school showed the class how to get the streaking star affect I have been interested in doing some photography like that. The only problem is I dont have a shutter reales. What is UDMA ?

Compct Flash companies have started to put this on the CF cards. They are not cheap I was wondering if UDMA is worth the money. Many photographers are wondering what the new Ultra Direct Memory Access (UDMA) protocolmeans for CompactFlash (CF) memory cards, and how this technology allows CF cards to readand write data at much higher speeds than before. Miami Art Festival.

Every December the population of Miami swells with gallery owners, collectors and curious artists flocking to the city’s many art fairs. From the blue-chip Art Basel Miami Beach to scrappier shows which showcase less established artists, each of the fairs has its own style, hosts its own launch parties, and inspires a circle of spin-off events that can at times fill the sidewalks. “You can see so much in a few days, you question anyone who doesn’t go there if they’re interested in art,” says Catherine Edelman, of Chicago’s Catherine Edelman Gallery, who is exhibiting at Art Miami for the second year in a row.
