Week in pictures.
Workers attempt to remove a 100,000-pound crane that fell onto the Santa Rosa, Calif., home of Michelle and Kevin McCarthy on Nov. 17. The couple had hired a contractor to remove a 150-year-old oak tree in the backyard for fear that it could fall. Instead, the crane fell and sliced through the house the McCarthys moved into just a few months earlier. No one was home at the time and there were no injuries. I found this picture on MSN’s week in pictures if you havent gone to the site you should look at it, it is a really awsome site for photography.
Wedding Photography
Tomorrow portrature calss my teacher Mrs.Harkins is going to lecture on wedding photography. I found this video of a local busines that does wedding here in Atlanta Ga. The business is called Atlanta artistic weddings . I am really interested in hearing what my teacher has to say about what to look for when shooting a weding.
7D Movie.
This is the first full length film made using the 7D. The tralier was a little strange but I thought that this was kinda of cool because of the quality of video that the camera can do, to read more about this click here.
ColorChecker calibration Target.
X-rite Color calibration targets come in handy when you want your imsges to be acurate when you go to print them, they also help you white balance this is good beacuse some cameras can do what is called a custom white balance. To read mor on this product go to PDN.com
Built-in Wireless E-TTL Flash

Slide show
The slide show is some of my best and favorite images. We made the slide show to day in Mr.Jones class I thought it was a good idea to show off your work in a slide show.
Testing The ISO
The 7D has high iso capabilities (100-12,800), which means I can now shoot in low light situations easier, this picture of Twitty was one of the first shots I took with my new camera. I was really impressed by how even at 12,800 the noise was more like film grain.

The other day we has a assignment to go and shoot a faculty member at school,I shot Mr.Aron Palson the catch was that we only had 15 minutes to shoot here is one of my images from the shoot.
