My Grandfather was a painter and I credit him for getting my start in photography. He was a big fan of abstract art, when I saw these shapes and colors I knew he would have loved to have seen them. I had a lot of fun searching for something different than what I typically shoot, and the Utah desert provided so many opportunities to find something different and abstract.
