The Ancient one, Ancient Bristlecone pine.
I had decided to make the drive to the white mountains for a sunset hike at Ancient Bristlecone pine tree park. These trees are some of the oldest in the world being around 4,000 years old and older. East Palisades is a trail just inside the Atlanta area, its a easy day hike. There is a lot to explore and a very cool bamboo forest right along the Chattahoochee river. Fort Mt is a Ga state park located in the north west part of Ga. I had not be able to get out and hike like I usually do because of the pandemic.
