Mount Mitchell provided some great hikes and views. Getting to explore an alpine forest was a real treat. I had hiked for the views at the lookout and was pleasantly surprised by what I found on the way. As I was leaving the area I pulled over at one of the many pull offs the light along the rolling hills was quite spectacular so I opted to zoom in and isolate some of the trees.
